Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award Winner Dr. Nathaniel Moore, president and founder of Rocky Mountain Urgent Care (RMUC), was awarded the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award® by Ernst & Young on June 21. He won the Socially & Environmentally Responsible category. RMUC opened its medical office in Commerce City in February 2007. This office is one of five locations in the Denver metro area. It has outperformed the opening of the other offices by doing four times the business for a single location. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Awards continues more than 20 years of recognizing the leaders and visionaries who are creating and building world-class businesses. Moore was one of seven award recipients out of a field of more than 60 nominees. Awards were presented for seven different categories: Emerging, Technology, Healthcare & Lifesciences, Real Estate & Hospitality, Socially & Environmentally Responsible, Business Services and Retail & Consumer Products. Each award winner demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The winners in each category are eligible for the National Entrepreneur of the Year® Category Awards, and will become lifetime members of the Entrepreneur of the Year® Hall of Fame. Rocky Mountain Urgent Care was nominated for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Award by Forrest Smith, III, of Merrill Lynch and the Commerce City Economic Development staff at Commerce City. |
